Qualifications: Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (1971).
Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (1979).
Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (1972).
Experience & specialisms:  John qualified in Manchester and then moved to North Wales in 1971 to lecture on taxation at Caer Rhun Hall accountancy college. He left Caer Rhun Hall in June 1979 to join Jim Banks as a partner in J V Banks. John is an excellent communicator with wealth of knowledge on tax and accounts.
Outside work: Walking; classic and modern cars.

Experience & specialisms:  Accountancy practitioner specializing in business start ups, grants, auditing, personal and corporate tax planning, management and financial consultancy and business recovery.
Outside work: 100% commitment to improving your business and finance but also likes hill walking and football.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB Hons) from Kings College, University of London (1990).
Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (1993).
Associate of The Chartered Institute of Taxation (1996).
Experience & specialisms:  Elaine qualified as a Chartered Accountant with a national firm in Chester before joining J V Banks in 1994. Elaine provides advice on all aspects involved in the start up and running of owner managed businesses. She has considerable experience in audit, accountancy, taxation and assistance with computerised accounting systems.
Outside work: Elaine enjoys yoga, following Formula 1, music and playing piano.

Qualifications: BA (Hons) Accounting and Management Control (1993).
Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (1997).
Experience & specialisms:  Phil gained a degree at Sheffield Hallam University and joined J V Banks on training contract in July 1993. He qualified in 1997 and joined as a partner in April 2001. Phil has strong technical expertise and has much involvement with motor dealerships.
Outside work: Being tired out by young son, playing and watching sport and going to the cinema.
